When I first saw Dreyfus chasing a laser-pointer dot, I thought "well, this will be fun for a few minutes." As it turns out, playing with a laser-pointer has been fun for several hours. The real question is: Will I stop enjoying this game before Dreyfus learns that he can't catch a beam of light?
