August 11: Stratton Mountain, VT (mile 1618)

I'm at a warming shack for the ski patrol which they leave open for the hikers. Minimal facilities but good when you've on the trail for a few days. Had to eat trail food the last few days, no phones to order pizza. The trail is nice and the scenery is beautiful, lots of white birch trees.
